Wasted
During the pandemic, when the scope of my life narrowed after a series of personal losses, my primary daily activity became picking up after my dogs, a metaphor for cleaning up the messes that others leave behind. I created plaster molds of my dogs’ waste and cast the pieces in clay and slip. I also tried online dating.
